For women affected by war and conflict

Oui x Women for Women International

Putting a smile on women's faces drives us every day and makes us give our best in all areas. Our team, which consists mainly of women, supports each other so that we continue to grow. Helping other women who have a more difficult starting position in life is therefore a real need for us. That's why we are wholeheartedly committed to the Virtual Pop Up Sale of Women for Women International for a good cause, to support women from crisis areas on their way to a self-determined life.

The Virtual Pop Up Sale is back!

On 21st November, Women for Women International Deutschland invites you to join the third Virtual Pop Up Sale supported by Bianca Lang-Bognar and Women for Women International Ambassadors Veronika Heilbrunner and Brita Fernandez Schmidt. At this unique fashion event you can buy treasured clothes and IT pieces by your favourite designers, brands, and influencers to raise funds for women survivors of war. 100% of the day’s profits will go towards Women for Women International’s response to the recent events in Afghanistan

High fashion for a good cause

Thanks to your magnificent support, the last two events raised enough money to support an entire classroom of 25 women in a country affected by war and conflict. Women for Women International provides a 12-month training program, in which 25 women in each class receive the skills and resources they need to change their lives for the better. This time, the event is completely virtual again, so you will be able to bid on your favourite items from the comfort of your own living room. In addition to the wonderful Veronika Heilbrunner, you can expect more inspiring people like Julian Daynov and Tamara von Nayhauß who are taking part in the event and donating special pieces from their wardrobes.

"For all fashion lovers who also want to do good while shopping: The Virtual Pop Up Sale is back! I am so grateful for the commitment of our friends and our community who are donating their beautiful favourite pieces for a good cause! They are making it possible for us to shop very special treasures at great prices while supporting women in countries affected by conflict - and 100% of the profits support the work of Women for Women International."

– Veronika Heilbrunner, Women for Women International Deutschland Ambassador.

A sign of solidarity

Women for Women International supports women who have survived war and conflict to rebuild their lives. Through the year-long training program, women learn how to earn and save money, what their basic rights are, and how to rebuild their self-confidence. They learn useful vocational skills so that they can later earn a stable income and support their families. The women pass on their learned knowledge to an average of five other people and thus create a ripple effect that strengthens the entire community. Since 1993, the Women for Women International has been able to support more than half a million marginalised women from Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda, and South Sudan, breaking the isolation caused by poverty and war. Women for Women International also raises awareness of the realities of women's lives in crisis areas, which are often go unseen and unheard.  A unique sponsorship program allows sponsors to support a woman who has survived a war through the life changing 12-month programme.
